Founders
Avani and Wouter Shahlenis are the husband-and-wife founders of Connexus, a global movement helping couples build deeper connection, emotional intimacy, and strong family systems. They met at a personal growth conference in San Francisco while Wouter was visiting from the Netherlands and quickly committed to building a life together. Their long-distance relationship inspired a nightly ritual called The Grateful Game, which became the foundation of their coaching philosophy. With over a decade of combined coaching experience, they support couples worldwide in communication, emotional safety, and personal responsibility. In 2024, they launched the Connexus Couples Connection Card Deck to help couples reconnect with ease and intention.
