Joe Madison is the Executive Director of Demand Disruption. Demand Disruption is an anti-human trafficking organization addressing the demand for commercial sex. For over a decade, we’ve helped men heal by looking at the root causes and contributing factors that lead someone to decide to purchase sex. Well beyond human trafficking, our work has led us to address culture’s idea of manhood, male loneliness, the sales cycle of porn, relationships, mental health, identity, and more.
Our mission is to build a world where sexual exploitation no longer exists. We believe in the ripple effect of healthy, connected men. I've listened to your last couple of episodes and am so encouraged and inspired by your honesty, vulnerability, and heart to make space for men's truth.
I was at Bridge and Extreme in Austin in October, and am so curious and hopeful to see how anti-trafficking/men's work/nervous system work all overlap. We'd love to connect with you to talk more and see how this collaboration aligns.
